Julian Wade, Dominica’s All-Time Record Goal Scorer, who led the way in goals for Dominica with three, scoring in both Dominica victories against St. Maarten and the Bahamas, will be looking to provide similar offensive fireworks against Suriname on Thursday.
Wade had a brace in the win against the Bahamas here in Dominica back in March and will be looking to capitalize on last year’s 0-0 draw with Suriname in Guadeloupe.
“I take this match like any other match,” Wade stated. He added, “I’ll do my best. I’ve been doing what I can, in terms of preparations, training with the team and putting in the work and also working on my finishes.”
“Football is played on the day, but what I can promise is I’ll put my best foot forward,” the striker said.
The Dominica national football team went through Concacaf Nations League qualifying with a 2-1-1 record and a 14th place finish.
Match time is at 3:00PM on Thursday.
