Fresh from scoring a brace in Dominica’s 4-0 win over Bahamas in the CONCACAF Nations League, Julian Wade scores another two goals, this time for his club, Solidarité Scolaire, in Guadeloupe.
The forward helped his team to an emphatic 4-0 win over Club Sportif Capestterien in the quarts de finale de la Coupe de la Guadeloupe by scoring two goals and setting up one.
“Yesterday was a very good game,” Wade told Positive Media DM. “We won 4-0. I had two goals and an assist so I had a very good individual showing as well.”
“The team played very well. We dominated the game from the get-go and I scored in the first five minutes so that gave us good momentum to settle in the game and play our style of football and keep possession,” he said.
Wade says this was an important win for Solidarité Scolaire. He says “We now advance to the semi’s which we will play on the 9th of April versus Club Sport St. François. So we just hope to continue, go from strength to strength and possibly win the Coupe de La Guadeloupe.”
The second semi final match of the Coupe de La Guadeloupe will be played on April 10th.
Julian Wade’s Solidarité Scolaire will take on Arsenal on Saturday in the Division d’Honneur in their next league match while Dominica’s number one shot stopper, Glenson Prince and Phare du Canal will be taking on Siroco on Saturday in the league.
