Captain of the CCCU Dublanc FC, Travist Joseph says he’s 110% confident that his team can go on to defend their premier league title and set a record of 3-straight premier league titles.

“Well as you know our focus was to always defend our title,” Joseph told Positive Media via WhatsApp voice note. “We’re not going to make anyone take that away from us so we are just going to do everything possible to make this happen.”

CCCU Dublanc FC will be up against Bath Estate FC on Sunday at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium in the second match of a doubleheader.

Joseph says his teammates are aware of how tough this match against Bath Estate can be. “On Sunday we could be raising the title according to how the match between Harlem and Sagicor South East you know, but, as you know Dublanc FC is always on their own we don’t depend on teams and we always do what we have to do to have things in our own hands,” he said.

“We will always go out to win out last two games and I know we will win our last to games especially with me back in the squad. I missed the last three games for my club and I’m back now, I feel great, I’m feeling in form and I’m 100% sure that we’re going to retain the title and of course we will win our next two matches,” Joseph said.

Dublanc will take Bath Estate FC from 4pm.

They were in red hot form in the previous outing as they defeated Petro Caribe Pointe Michel 8-0 with goals coming from Shikel St. Marie (hat-trick), Ludwig Bertrand (2), Savio Anselm (1), McConnie Royer (1) and Jamie Deluge (1).
