Defending DFA Premier League Champions, CCCU Dublanc FC, maintained their lead at the top of the points table with a 5-0 hammering of Bath Estate FC in the second match of a doubleheader at the Windsor Park Stadium on Sunday.

Travis Joseph who returned to the squad after missing three matches netted twice for Dublanc, with Ludwig Bertrand, Savio Anselm and Ajaya Royer getting one each.

Joseph who scored two second half goals said “I’m back and I’m confident in my team and I feel fit, I feel a hundred and ten percent.”

This win over Bath Estate give Dublanc FC (39 points) a 1-point lead over Sagicor South East (38 points) who were also victorious in their match against Promex Harlem United.

This win also see’s the goal-scoring form continue for Dublanc – they previously hammered Petro Caribe Pointe Michel 8-0 at the Benjamin’s Park in Portsmouth.

Coach of CCCU Dublacn FC, Malcolm Bertrand described the win over Bath Estate as “a big step towards the title”.

“It puts us back on top of the table and as you can see we worked hard for it. Right now we have one more game to play and nothing is over we know what we have to do. Things are looking good going forward,” he said.
