Sagicor South East FC have extended their lead at the top of the points table in the DFA Premier League with a thumping 5-1 win over Petro Caribe Point Michel FC at the Benjamin’s Park in Portsmouth on the weekend.
Devon George registered a hat-trick for South East, with Issa Pascal scoring one. Randolph Peltier scored the lone goal for Point Michel.
Sacgicor South East now have 32 points from 15 games.
Meanwhile, at the Dublanc playing field, the match between Promex Harlem United and Belfast Estate Mahaut Soca Strikers ended prematurely in the 71st minute due to the invasion of a resident of Dublanc on Harlem’s bench who refused to move.
The DFA is investigating this situation.
Sunday’s games for the Benjamin’s Park and the Dublanc playing field respectively were called off.
