Ridge Blaize found the back of the nets twice as LA Stars began their Nations Cup Campaign with a 5-1 hammering of Calibishie Diaspora at the Castle Bruce Playing Field on the weekend.

A goal each came from Cheston Prosper, Aldin Graham and Derron James for the Stars with Tyrese Carbon getting the lone goal for Calibishie.

In another match, Exodus FC defeated Police sports club 3-1 at the Dublanc playing field. Aaron Francis scored a brace for Exodus, with Llamar Phillip getting one. Daniel Ormond scored for Police.

In match number three, RC Doctors forfeited their match against Bath Estate FC at the Benjamin’s Park.

Meanwhile in the only match on Sunday, All Saints recorded a 5-1 victory over Itassi.

The goal scorers for All Saints were Abuka Hilary, Joshua Okuku, Jeff Evurwedede, and Abdul Habiyi scoring one each with Roland Honore scoring an own goal.

The goal scorer for Itassi was Dowan Leblanc.
