Mahaut Soca Strikers scored two second-half goals on Saturday to secure all three points against Petro Caribe Pointe Michel at the Windsor Park Sports Stadium.

Dillon Augustine opened the scoring with an exciting solo run beating three defenders before slotting the ball home.

Dionel Abraham placed the icing on the cake with practically the last play of the game as the unmarked defender headed in from a corner to make it 2-0 to his team.

Soca Strikers could have ended the contest a lot earlier with poor finishing upfront.

Soca Strikers have now gone on to win two games from the three played following the restart.

They recently failed to defend a 4-2 lead over LA Enterprise Bombers FC at the Benjamin’s Park losing 5-4 while they won over Exodus 2-1 on July 25.
