The Dominica Cycling Association will host its 5th race of the season, the most challenging race so far, on Sunday April 7th, 2019.
“The boys will be going up, as they call it, the mountain challenge, and that is from Ma Boyd’s Bar up to Bellevue Chopin,” said the President of the DCA, Ronald Charles.
“We’re looking to see who will be the king of the mountains. Will it be Koath? Will it be Ajany? Would it be Hayden Mills or the man Daddy Chess?” Charles further stated.
The association has called out on the people of Bellevue Chopin to come out and show their support to the riders as they make their way up to the finish.
The race is set to begin at 10:00am.
Meanwhile, Koath Baron is the winner of race #4, a 25-round race around the Windsor Park, which took place on Sunday March 31st, 2019.
Baron won his second race of the season in grand style after pacing himself comfortably with the other riders.
However, with about 5 laps to go Baron switched up the pace and pulled away from the rest of the rider to secure an easy win.
