All-round performances by Kershaski Jno Lewis and Anderson Burton was more than enough to help steer the Marinor Blasters to a 5-wicket win over KFC Summits in the DCA Premier League at the Botanic Gardens on the weekend in a match reduced to 48 overs due to rain.
KFC Summits won the toss and batted first with Casimir Benjamin (94) and Stephan Pascal (56) putting on an opening stand of 132 for the first wicket.
Larenz Wiltshire supported with 20 while Al Jai Liverpool contributed 10.
The KFC Summits were eventually bowled out for 221 in 41.3 overs.
Derry Auguiste lead the way with figures of 3/30 in 6 overs, Kershaski Jno Lewis 2/26 in 5 overs and Anderson Burton 2/42 in 9 overs.
Needing 222 to win, Kershaski Jno Lewis (82) and Anderson Burton (79) built a hard-fought fourth-wicket partnership of 92 runs to see the Blasters over the line.
