Following an unsatisfactory performance with the ball in the third and final match in the #Raisethebat series, West Indies Captain, Jason Holder has gone down two places in the ICC Test ranking.
Holder who sat 3rd with 834 ranking points at the end of the second Test, lost 24 ranking points in the latest ICC Test bowling rankings released on Wednesday.
He took only two (2) wickets for 107 runs as the West Indies fell miserably by 269 runs on the final day losing the series 2-1.
The West Indies Captain is now 5th in the Test bowling rankings table with 810 ranking points — 13 ranking points behind England’s Stuart Broad who became only the second England bowler to reach 500 Test wickets. Broad now has 823 ranking points occupying the 3rd spot.
However, Jason Holder maintains 2nd spot in the all-rounder rankings behind England’s Ben Stokes.
Stokes has surpassed Jason Holder to become the world’s top-ranked Test all-rounder while also snagging a career-best third position among batsmen in the ICC Test Player Rankings.
