Malakai Xavier and Delany Alexander shared 19 wickets between them to to pilot the Goodwill Secondary School to an innings and 14-run victory over the Castle Bruce Secondary School in the Massy United Insurance Under-20 Secondary Schools Cricket Championship.
CBSS took first knock and were bowled out for 36 with Keenan Rolle and Jamal Timothy both getting 9 runs.
Delany Alexander bagged 5 wickets for 6 runs in 9.3 overs while Malakai Xavier picked up 4 for 15 in 10 overs.
The Goodwill Secondary School then made 84 for 7 declared with Delany Alexander scoring 24, Malakai Xavier 20 and Anderson Williams 13 to give the Goodwill Secondary School a lead of 48.
Bennehim Sanford was the pick of the bowlers for the Castle Bruce Secondary School with 6 for 25 and Von Elizee 1 for 20.
Batting a second time, Castle Bruce Secondary were bundled for a second time in the match, this time getting 34 all out. Burchard Francis topped scored with 23 as Malakai Xavier wreaked havoc bagging 7 wickets for just 6 runs and Delany Alexander 3 for 17 giving the Goodwill Secondary School the victory.
