Under-19 all-rounder, Lincoln Abe Durand, has been invited to the Under-19 Rising Stars Training Camp to be held in Antigua from September 13-23, 2019.

The U19 Rising Stars Training Camp is in preparation for the U19 2020 World Cup.

Durand said, “I feel really happy, I feel like really and truly hard work pays off. I feel like I worked hard enough where I should be selected and I’m just ready to go out there and do what I have to do.”

The all-rounder further stated that he’s looking forward to be selected on to the final squad for the World Cup. “The training camp is basically to pick the final team, so I’m really looking forward to just going out there and doing what I have to do and getting selected.”

“I feel really confident that I have the ability and what it takes to make the team,” he added.

The World Cup is scheduled to take place in South Africa from January 17th to February 9th, 2020. It will be the thirteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the second to be held in South Africa.
