The Barbados “A” Team secured a 5-wicket win over the Dominica Under-23 team on Sunday and to claim the One Day leg of their tour here in Dominica.
Playing at the Benjamin’s Park on Sunday, Barbados “A” won the toss and sent the host in to bat first – a decision that paid off with Dominica U23 being bowled out for a paltry 110 in 26.4 overs.
Only Gian Benjamin (27) and Brian Joseph (30) got into double figures for the Dominica team with Jarion Hoyte, the pick of the Bajan bowlers taking 5 for 58 and Camarie Boyce 3 wickets for 3 runs in 3.4 overs.
