The Roseau Improvement Committee (RIC) Basketball team recorded a 40-point blowout win over Castle Bruce on Wednesday night as the playoffs of the Ronald Charles Roseau Valley Basketball League continued.

Kelsey Guye netted a game-high 31 points to lead the RIC team to the 97-57 win over the boys from the East.

McCray Edwards also proved to be too much for the Castle Bruce team to handle with his quick movements around the court. Edwards registered 29 points to assist his fellow teammate Guye.

Support also came from Khamal Hamilton who proved a little too much with his towering height. Hamilton scored 20 points off the bench.

However, Castle Bruce had their own little time of magic. Brothers Kurt and Kurtis McPherson scored 19 and 13 points respectively to help their team pass the 50-point mark and caused a little trouble for RIC.

But at the end, RIC with the experience knocked out the Castle Bruce team from the league.

All games are suspended until the 2019 Carnival season is over.
